Editorial Responsibility
Swing Directory is an independent editorial directory of swinger clubs, lifestyle venues, events and swinger-related platforms.
Our goal is to provide useful, accurate and clearly sourced information about the adult lifestyle scene across Europe.
Editorial independence
Swing Directory exercises independent editorial control over which venues, events and platforms are included and how they are classified.
Listings are selected because they are relevant to the subject of the directory and have a sufficiently identifiable public presence.
A venue or platform does not need to request, submit, claim or approve a listing before it can be included.
Inclusion does not imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, cooperation or approval by the listed business or organization.
Likewise, a link from Swing Directory to a venue's official website does not imply that the venue has approved or participated in the listing.
Sources
We primarily use publicly available sources.
Depending on the listing, these may include:
- official websites
- official social media accounts
- official event calendars
- current event announcements
- public business records
- public location information
- credible independent sources
For practical information such as opening hours, prices, admission rules and event schedules, current first-party information from the venue is normally preferred where available.
Independent sources may also be used to confirm the existence, location, history, former names or current status of a venue.
Where sources conflict, we assess recency, proximity to the subject and overall credibility before deciding what information to publish.
Verification
The term “verified” has a specific meaning within Swing Directory.
It means that we have found sufficiently current and credible public evidence indicating that the venue appears to be active.
It does not mean that:
- Swing Directory has personally visited the venue
- the venue has inspected our listing
- the venue has confirmed every detail
- the listing is officially authorized by the venue
- Swing Directory and the venue have a commercial relationship
Listings for which current evidence is less conclusive may instead be marked “check first”.
Accuracy and changes
We aim to keep factual information current, but adult lifestyle venues can change opening hours, prices, event formats, membership policies and access rules frequently.
For that reason, users should always confirm time-sensitive information directly with a venue before travelling.
A listing represents the best information reasonably available to us at the time it was researched or updated. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future opening, admission or availability.
Classification and descriptions
Swing Directory uses its own editorial categories to make venues easier to compare and discover.
Terms such as swinger club, libertine club, lifestyle venue, BDSM venue, adult sauna or related venue may therefore describe how a venue fits within the directory rather than being the exact terminology the business uses for itself.
Where this distinction is important, we aim to make it clear.
Descriptions are intended to summarize factual characteristics rather than promote or criticize a venue.
Current and former venue names
We aim to use a venue's current public name as its primary listing name.
Former names, previous brands and historical identities may be retained where they are publicly documented and useful for identifying the venue, understanding older references or preventing duplicate records.
A former name should not be presented as though it were the venue's current name.
Corrections
We welcome factual corrections from venue owners, organizers, platform operators and users.

We may ask for a source or independently verify the proposed change before updating the directory.
Submitting a correction does not give any external party editorial control over a listing, but credible evidence of an error will be taken seriously and corrected.
Removal requests
Requests to remove a listing are reviewed individually.
We may remove, restrict or change a listing when, for example:
- the venue has permanently closed
- the listing identifies the wrong business or location
- information cannot be adequately verified
- publication creates a legitimate privacy or safety concern
- the listing no longer falls within the scope of the directory
- other circumstances make continued publication inappropriate
Swing Directory is, however, an independent directory of publicly operating venues and services. Inclusion is therefore not conditional on a business having requested or approved its listing.
A request for removal does not automatically result in deletion where the listing remains accurate, relevant and appropriate for the directory.
Commercial relationships
Swing Directory does not accept payment in exchange for being classified as a verified venue or for altering factual editorial conclusions.
Some outbound links may be sponsored or affiliate links. Where commercial relationships exist, they do not determine whether a venue or platform is included in the directory.
Editorial relevance comes first.
Errors
Despite our research process, errors can occur.
If you find information that is inaccurate, outdated, misleading or attributed to the wrong venue, please tell us. We would rather correct a documented error than leave inaccurate information online.
