About Swing Directory

How the directory is built

Swing Directory maintains its own structured database based primarily on publicly available information.

We research venues and platforms using sources such as:

• official venue and platform websites
• official social media profiles
• current event calendars and event announcements
• public business information
• reliable third-party sources where additional verification is useful

Information is organized and compared across sources before it is added to the directory.

Listings are created independently by Swing Directory. Businesses, clubs and organizers do not need to submit themselves, register with us, claim a profile or approve a listing in order to be included.

What is included

The directory primarily covers:

• swinger clubs
• libertine clubs
• couples clubs
• adult lifestyle clubs
• swinger events and party organizers
• swinger resorts and destination venues
• swinger and adult-contact platforms

Some country guides also include related venues such as BDSM clubs, fetish venues, adult saunas, naturist venues or private play spaces when they are relevant to people researching the local lifestyle scene.

Related venues are distinguished from confirmed swinger clubs wherever this distinction is useful.

What “verified” means

A venue is marked as verified when we have found current and credible public information indicating that it appears to be operating.

A verified venue will normally have one or more of the following:

• a working official website or official profile
• recent events or calendar activity
• current opening or admission information
• enough public information to clearly identify the venue
• other credible evidence of recent activity

“Verified” describes the status of the information we have found.

It does not mean that Swing Directory has personally visited the venue, that the venue has verified the listing for us, or that there is any commercial or editorial relationship between the venue and Swing Directory.

Venues marked “check first”

Some venues may still be relevant even though their current status cannot be established with the same level of confidence.

These are marked “check first”.

This may apply when:

• recent public information is limited
• an official website has little recent activity
• different sources contain conflicting information
• the venue appears relevant but its exact format is unclear
• the most recent information is older than we would prefer

A “check first” listing should not be interpreted as confirmation that the venue is currently open.

Inactive and historical venues

Swing Directory also retains a limited number of inactive or historical venue records.

These are not presented as currently active clubs. They may be retained when they help explain older search results, previous venue names, address changes, rebrandings or clubs that continue to be mentioned elsewhere online.

Where a venue has changed its name, the current name should be clearly distinguished from former names.

Historical information is included only when it remains useful for identifying or understanding a venue.

Independent listings

Swing Directory is an editorial directory rather than a venue-registration service.

We decide independently which venues, events and platforms are relevant to the directory.

A venue therefore does not need to:

• request inclusion
• create an account
• claim its listing
• approve our description
• have a commercial relationship with Swing Directory

Likewise, inclusion does not mean that a venue endorses, recommends, sponsors or cooperates with Swing Directory.

Our aim is to describe publicly operating venues accurately, not to represent them.

Corrections

Accurate information matters more than preserving our original wording.

Club owners, organizers, platform operators and users are therefore encouraged to report factual errors or outdated information to:

Useful corrections include:

• closed venues
• newly opened venues
• address changes
• incorrect map locations
• changed websites
• changed opening hours
• prices
• membership requirements
• guest policies
• booking requirements
• changed facilities
• event activity
• renamed or rebranded venues
• platforms that should be added, updated or marked inactive

Corrections are reviewed against available sources before the database is updated.

Requests concerning a listing

We review requests from venue owners and other affected parties individually.

Factual errors, outdated information, incorrect identification and privacy concerns will be investigated and corrected where appropriate.

A request not to be included is also reviewed, but Swing Directory is an independent directory and inclusion is not based on prior permission from the businesses or organizations being documented.

The final editorial decision considers the accuracy, relevance and purpose of the information in the directory.

Maps and locations

Maps are provided to help users understand where venues are located.

A map marker should not by itself be interpreted as confirmation that a venue is currently open, that an event is taking place or that access is available without prior booking.

Always check current information before travelling.

Swinger and dating platforms

Country guides may also include local, regional and international swinger or adult-contact platforms.

Platform inclusion is based on relevance to the country rather than simply the size of the service.

Where possible, we distinguish between strong local options, international services with meaningful local use and supplementary alternatives.

Commercial relationships

Some outbound links may be affiliate or sponsored links.

Commercial relationships do not determine whether a venue or platform qualifies for inclusion, nor do they change our factual assessment of a listing.

We aim to recommend resources because they are relevant to the country or subject being covered.

Before visiting a venue

Swing Directory should be used as a starting point for research rather than as a substitute for checking directly with a venue.

Opening hours, event dates, prices, membership rules, dress codes, booking requirements, guest policies and access rules can change at short notice.

Always visit the venue's own current website or official channels before travelling.
